We are a small hobby breeder located in south Florida. Our goal is to preserve the Belgian Sheepdog breed by producing versatile dogs that are sound in both body and mind while staying true to breed type. While we do compete in conformation and a variety of performance sports, our dogs are first and foremost family companions that live with us on our five acre farm.

T he name Sans Soleil, French for "without sun", was chosen because of the beautiful black coat of the Belgian Sheepdog and because during the summer we limit the Belgians outside time in the middle of the day due to the heat. Hence they mainly play outside in the early morning and at night, without sun. It also provides a little bit of humor as Florida is known as the "sunshine state."
